I have a fun story to tell you all

So yesterday I went to my town fair with some friends and we ended up not sleeping at all.

So of course in the morning/next day because well... no sleeping, me and my friend Emily went to get coffees for everyone.

We rolled up to the Starbucks and its almost fall so I'm like yearning for a pumpkin spice latte. I knew they wouldn't have one though because its still august so we get to the order station and the barista with this super suave voice comes through and I'm just like

"oh yes, can I get a vanilla spice latte?" and the guy is like ooh sorry, we don't have that anymore! But we do have pumpkin spice.

I made a total commotion and when I finally settled down I was all calm like "Heck yes I would like a pumpkin spice."

He started laughing and we ordered the rest of the drinks and he asked if I wanted him to name the cups so I wouldn't get confused. I was feeling really good so I did the stupidest possible thing and was just like "This is the FO of the starship Enterprise." and that's all I said.

Emily was totally in hysterics and I'm just "I couldn't help it he sounded hot" and then she burst into more hysterics because we're still right next to the order station and she pointed out he could probably hear me through the comm.

I felt like a total idiot and the whole wait up to the window I was so scared because holy shit a really hot sounding barista just heard me say he was hot sounding and I was ready for the total awkward fest about to ensue. I totally forgot what I had told him to write on my cup.

So we get up to the window and he starts handing drinks and holy heckie I cannot even

He was really hot

like, unbelievably attractive and homely.

He hands me my drink and as if I hadn't flipped my shit already

he had written 'First Officer Spock' on the damn cup and he was smiling at me and I was so embarrassed all I could do was smile shyly and tell him thank you

and he looked at me like, with this quirky little eyebrow and said "Hey, for a Vulcan you have a really pretty smile."

I shit you not I almost couldn't respond to him and I was laughing and said thank you and then we were headed back to Austin's house

and that is the day I fell inlove with a starbucks barista this is the story of my life
